Abstract

Telemedicine has emerged as a transformative tool in bridging healthcare gaps for underserved populations, particularly in developing countries where access to medical facilities is limited. Through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital platforms such as Medisense, telemedicine provides remote diagnostic services, real-time consultations, and predictive health monitoring. This article explores how Medisense expands access to healthcare in Pakistan’s remote areas by focusing on four dimensions: improving diagnostic services, enhancing patient–doctor connectivity, reducing healthcare costs, and addressing infrastructural and ethical challenges. With the inclusion of graphical data, the study highlights the transformative potential of telemedicine for creating an inclusive healthcare system that is efficient, affordable, and accessible.
