The World Journal of Medicine Evidence is an open-access journal committed to making high-quality medical research freely available worldwide. To support editorial management, peer review, production, and long-term digital preservation, an Article Processing Charge (APC) may be applied to accepted manuscripts.

1. Submission Charges

  • Submission Fee: Nil
  • Authors are not required to pay any fee at the time of manuscript submission.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)

The APC is applicable only after acceptance of the manuscript.

3. What the APC Covers

The publication fee includes:

  • Editorial handling and manuscript processing
  • Double-blind peer review system
  • DOI assignment (CrossRef)
  • Online hosting and archiving (OJS platform)
  • Typesetting and formatting
  • PDF publication
  • Open-access availability worldwide

4. Page and Color Charges

  • Page Charges: None (within standard limits)
  • Color Figures: Included in APC (no extra charge in most cases)

5. Waiver Policy

The journal supports researchers who may not have funding support.

Full or partial waivers may be granted for:

  • Authors from low-income countries
  • High-quality manuscripts with strong scientific contribution
  • Student-led research (upon request)
  • Special editorial approval cases

Waiver requests must be submitted before acceptance decision.

6. Payment Terms

  • APC is requested only after acceptance notification
  • Payment instructions are provided via official editorial email
  • Publication begins after confirmation of payment
